A foal rug for extra protection

If you allow your new-born horse outdoors, you can give him extra protection by covering him with a foal rug. This may be especially useful when your horse is born early or late in the season and the outdoor temperatures are low. And when your horse is shaved for an examination you cannot really do without it. Even while he's stabled, a rug is comfortable for your foal. When it's freezing and windy, it will only take a short while to get cold.

The foal rugs of MHS

All of our foal rugs are made of a water and windproof fabric that does not allow any rain in. This ensures your horse is always dry and warm under the rug. The blankets have a belly flap and are made of a strong fabric of at least 600 Denier. They are available in different thicknesses, for example in 100 and 150-gram lining.

You can also choose from a variety of colours and prints such as a giraffe or a zebra print. We offer foal rugs of various brands such as Tough 1 and our own quality brand, MHS.
